Our History
Founded in 1922, Budde Sheet Metal Works, Inc. is a successful family-owned business that specializes in precision specialty metal fabrication, industrial ventilation systems, full-service welding, on-site service and installation, design assistance, short production runs and prototyping. A pioneer of the region’s traditions in quality sheet metal work, Budde Sheet Metal has served commerce for over one hundred years, including industries such as aerospace, automotive, construction, defense, and food processing.
Throughout the years, Budde Sheet Metal’s facility changed locations and in the 1950’s moved to our current location on Leo Street. Leo’s three sons and brother all became involved with the family business and proved to be invaluable to the company’s operations. In later years, Leo’s grandsons and nephew joined the family business.
Budde Sheet Metal is currently owned and operated by the third and fourth generation of Buddes who take pride in the history of their family business and the superb reputation that Budde Sheet Metal has in the sheet metal industry.
In 2006, Budde Sheet Metal Works, Inc. opened a second location in Lima, Ohio. Throughout the 101 years that Budde Sheet Metal has been in business, it has been on the forefront of industry development.
